Rockport River Terminals, Inc. (RRT) is a multi-commodity trans-loading river terminal located at 743.8 right descending bank on the Ohio River near Rockport, Indiana. The 17 acre terminal is permitted to handle bulk commodities, containers, general cargo, and specialized lifts.
 

RRT's facility is comprised of a 60" load out conveyor, offload conveyor, a 245 CAT excavator, a 20' diameter mooring cell, a 276' x 50' x 12' deck barge and a continuous barge pulling winch, a ground level dual truck dumping hopper, and a 988 Caterpillar loader.  RRT is able to trans-load at a maximum load out rate of 1800 tons per hour and offload rate of 900 tons per hour providing RRT an efficient, economical, and user-friendly operation.
 
 
 

RRT's secured (fenced) storage facility will allow storage for inter-modal containers, steel and warehousing.  Within RRT's secured area, there is a total of 125,000 square feet of concrete staging area for open storage and a 60' x 170' (10,200 square foot) concrete floor steel structure building. This area also has city water, sewer, natural gas and 3-phase power available on site.

RRT's future expansion will consist of an overhead 100' wide x 800' long 75-ton bridge crane. This expansion will allow movement of steel, inter-modal and heavy lifts in an efficient and economical manner.
